Hey Tony, this is so wonderfully written….you painted a great picture…. with your description of the worthy neighbor, to life at the time-living with no choice but to be under a counsels ration decisions….and your big- hearted reaction to it all, (as a kid yourself, no less). The thought of his ‘big grin’ as he stood in the doorway in his underwear must make you smile, as it does all who hears the story, to this day. Well done! Karen <3
